Indian Classical Music Section

In the Harmonics “nerd” section, you mentioned that Indian Classical Music has a different system than the 12-tone scale. It could be cool for mostly Western-trained ears (and eyes) to hear and see this, and even practice it on a sitar fretboard or something. I once played sitar with a street musician who’s spent a lot of time in India and because I was so used to Western scales, I accidentally played a wrong note (or notes) and he said, “see, you’ve met an enemy on the path.” I thought that was the coolest analogy ever. Maybe that’s what the game could say when we choose the wrong note in the game or practice rounds.

Hey Lou, that's a cool story and a great idea. I will think more about it but here's my initial thought: As much as I personally would love to do a sitar fretboard and microtones and delve into indian classical music in general, most of Gitori's users are here strictly for the western music/guitar stuff. That said, I'm going to leave this open to see if there's anyone else that may want to upvote/add feedback to this. At some point, I might do this separately once I have a few free cycles though!
